- POLISTYRENE: Polystyrene is a popular thermoplastic material with a wide range of applications. It is produced by the polymerization of styrene monomer, which results from styrene molecules coming together to form long chains. It is known for its light, hard and transparent structure and can be easily colored or transformed into different forms.
There are 2 types: Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) and Extruded Polystyrene (XPS).
Applications:
Thermal insulation materials, Automotive parts, food use equipment.
